Established in Salzburg Austria in 1970 Untha has 30 years experience in the design, development, construction, sales and maintenance of shredders. The first four shaft shrdding system with grate was patented by Untha.

Today Untha supply a wide range of single, twin and four shaft shredders to an enormous variety of applications throughout Europe and the USA. Untha shredders are available from 13.5Kw to 400Kw and can be used for shredding a wide variety of products including, plastics, textiles, films, wood, various waste streams, metals, foams, carpets, paper, SRF, tyre etc.

In the past few years Untha have established a division focused exclusively on alternative and secondary energy source and the preparation of Refuse Derived Fuels (RDF). Exhaustive research with users and operators and in conjunction with various Universities has produced their TR RDF shredder which has taken secondary shredding to a new level.
