Established as Moller & Jochumsen in 1857 in Denmark the development of M&J products over the past 153 years mirrors the development of machinery and mechanization. M&J has produced memorial crosses, steam engines, turbines and equipment for the sugar and paper industries. In the past 25 years it has focused on the recycling industry developing the now World famous M&J shredder.
M&J’s leading position in the shredder market was reinforced in 2008 when it was purchased by the Finnish Multi National Metso. Metso is a global supplier of technology and services to the mining, construction, power generation, oil, gas and paper industries. M&J now forms the cornerstone of its recycling division.
M&J shredders are available with either a single or twin shaft configuration with electric or diesel drives and are used to shred a wide variety of products, including, commercial, industrial and construction waste, household waste, bulky waste including carpets and mattresses, light metals, dead animals, icebergs, wood and green waste, tree stumps and tyres.
M&J shredders are available in static versions (110 Kw to 400Kw) and mobile on trailers or crawlers (228 HP to 516HP).
